I had dream last night that I was running from something and I reached to the ocean bridge where I was trying to cross it and reach to the shore. Just after half a mile I found that bridge is broken and I am on a scary height from ocean itself. Then I tried to go back but it was shaking and I just jumped into ocean the next thi no I know I focused and I thought it’s possible and with that I was levitating and crossing the ocean with the speed of light , during that time I didn’t wanted my focus to be broken however I was feared what if I reach the land and won’t be able to stop myself . Luckily upon reaching the land I had self control and was able to stop. But it was intense .

I have had one OBE where I was floating above my body and could see myself in real time, when I realized what I was seeing there was a swoosh sound and I was back in my body. This OBE happened 32 years ago. Last night I was dreaming and was woken up unexpectedly by my husband, I opened my eyes and could hear my husband in the bathroom but I saw a futuristic ceiling with a fan shaped object on ceiling, it was all white and made from “space plastic” material, I closed my eyes still seeing the futuristic ceiling and I heard an electricial buzzing sound as the images went in and out–like the transmission was being interrupted. Then image was gone. Just want to say I don’t suffer from any mental malady but I have had many lucid dreams and am able to change their trajectory, I am able to see myself in the dreams, my hands. Sometimes i wonder if i was really some place else!

In reply to SB. Falling dreams are common and when we experience them without fear, they can be sublime. If you are aware that you are dreaming while you are falling, this means it was a lucid dream.

In reply to Dr Clare Johnson. I have this recurring dream where I am falling from great heights. Sometimes I first float up up up high, into space almost, and I get an arial view of everything, it’s incredible! And then I fall down! I know I’m falling so it’s not scary it’s exhilarating! (Sometimes it is scary when I’m falling into an ocean). Last night I dreamt I fell from a spaceship in space (the greatest height I’ve fallen from yet). I could see earth approaching larger and larger, then I halted halfway down, suspended in space. Is this falling a type of lucid dream? What does it mean?

I am standing on a raised platform of a hotel, protected from the heavy downpour in broad daylight. The open space around me has no trees, but a vast landscape filled with fertile soil and patches of greenery scattered across. The dense rain gives the impression of a white screen with tiny pixels. Suddenly, something miraculous happens before my eyes. Generations from the past, living in different timelines, emerge one after the other from the Earth. Like a 3D movie, they come towards me at split-second speed and pass through me. I do not feel them. I still cannot believe the wonderful simulation that happened in my dream.

Great article and comments, very interesting. I do love the flying ones, it’s been a while for me. In one I was learning and crash landed a few times but soon managed it over water. Incentive!

One I always recall though was while I was In Italy and unlike any other. I was there, more than lucid, reality. I was on a huge polished metal slide, beautiful sky, and only the second time I’ve seen myself (the other one was in an old Victorian station a century back!) and a very calm voice said “Not your Time yet”, that old chestnut. Stayed with me.

In reply to Rick. I used to go into lucidity voluntarily which I still don't understand how and when I am in the subjective space I used to be surrounded by dark space after I exceed the clouds. Now by reading this I came to a conclusion that I might have been inside the void. Thanks to you and the information you have provided . It's too enlightening.

In reply to Paige. This gives me chills, I had a dream last week where I was floating in the sky, then fiercely brought to a wormhole. Everything was so bright and orange and red. I was screaming and was scared to go in. When I was zapped through, I was in a black void, until I saw this huge bright BLUE cube. With either dots or stars in the outlines. I said, “Oh, that’s what that looks like”..then my husband woke me up from me screaming before. I was so confused on why a cube, like what does that mean. But I figured it out, it’s a tesseract! To us, it’s a 3-d shape. We are 3D. To us, 4 dimensional figures will look 3 dimensional. And tesseracts are supposedly gateways for time or tunnels for other dimensions. I just think it’s crazy that we both saw something very distinct, a blue cube.
