my first intense lucid dream i couldnt wake up and thought i was dead of in a coma and i still get this fear and wake myself up when lucid dreaming. i want to get over this fear and appreciate the gift that lucid dreaming is and explore.

I think I would say I experienced the void. I remember floating in this dark void. I couldn’t see anything. I felt scared and confused where I was but at the sametime I knew it was a dream. All of sudden I was standing on gold platform. Mechanical is someway. I was staring at it and looked up and I heard without not sure if it was words or I was told your not supposed to be here. I woke up dazed from it. It’s always stuck to me. It was all in color,I knew it was a dream,what was I standing on?, who told me I wasn’t allowed to be there?

I am not sure I agree with the “however you get there” aspect of arriving in the void. For me, 29 years ago, I dreamt of being shot in the neck and then the head, went through the dying experience, involving the degeneration of the senses and the thought processes, until one could say I was then in absolute loss of all sense of the body and senses, and therefore void, nada, niente, no bodily form. Then my sense of self started to “dissolve’, at which point there was the realization that whatever ‘I’ am would be no more and lastly the thought of what my last, lest thought should be. Want to know what it was? Any guesses?

At the age of 14, for one year, I would begin to fall asleep, when suddenly I was falling. It was very physical. As I fell I saw objects and faces on my left and right side. They weren’t scary. I wasn’t afraid. I just assumed everyone had this experience.
I’ve always wondered why.
What was the reason for this?

I experience the same the tiny dots that swirl l. I have encountered I a star like figure that is close up to start then fades back and if I concentrate on this light/star I notice a swirl of smaller stars. I at this moment connect it with the spiritual eye that has many names. The swirl of the many other stars or lights that can be focus on I think is related to the torus pattern/energy of our minds.

Hi Kira, sorry about your cat. Yes, it is absolutely possible to not be alone in the void. How beautiful that you were able to say goodbye to your cat in that space.

In the void, if fear arises, relax and breathe, knowing you will wake up safely. An attitude of curiosity is helpful.
It sounds like you’re doing really well and having some truly awesome adventures.

Ok. I am able figure out that I am dreaming and then purposely jump off of something to pop myself out of the dream and feels like my body. I can never control where I go and sometimes I do flips for a while. But then one time someone caught my arms and she had red eyes and put me back into the a dream but I knew I was dreaming but everything had texture and weight when I touched it. I have such a hard time finding information as this seems to be very subjective to a lot of people and I never really find a common pattern in everyone’s stories. Any real info would be great
