My first boyfriend and myself had a strange experience 25 years ago. We had been sleeping back to back, and we both frantically awoke and realising we were having the same argument with each other in both of our dreams. Still think about that to this day.

In reply to Enrique. my first intense lucid dream i couldnt wake up and thought i was dead of in a coma and i still get this fear and wake myself up when lucid dreaming. i want to get over this fear and appreciate the gift that lucid dreaming is and explore.

In reply to Dr Clare Johnson. I think I would say I experienced the void. I remember floating in this dark void. I couldn't see anything. I felt scared and confused where I was but at the sametime I knew it was a dream. All of sudden I was standing on gold platform. Mechanical is someway. I was staring at it and looked up and I heard without not sure if it was words or I was told your not supposed to be here. I woke up dazed from it. It's always stuck to me. It was all in color,I knew it was a dream,what was I standing on?, who told me I wasn't allowed to be there?

Hello 🙂 After a couples of attempts I had my first lucid dream today’s morning. I saw a woman walking around a very small baby and something was wrong – like deformation of kid’s body and first feeling was bad, but immediately I realised – it is weird, that must be a dream! And I god lucidity. All visual scene disappeared and I found myself in a grey space. A few seconds I spent there and nothing happened so I woke up 🙂 And then I browsed on the internet and grey zone really exists and known by lucid dreamers 🙂

In reply to Saa. I am not sure I agree with the "however you get there" aspect of arriving in the void. For me, 29 years ago, I dreamt of being shot in the neck and then the head, went through the dying experience, involving the degeneration of the senses and the thought processes, until one could say I was then in absolute loss of all sense of the body and senses, and therefore void, nada, niente, no bodily form. Then my sense of self started to "dissolve', at which point there was the realization that whatever 'I' am would be no more and lastly the thought of what my last, lest thought should be. Want to know what it was? Any guesses?
